How it started

Hello!

I launched Deja Vu Photo Curating in June 2022. I have always loved photos, taking photos, and sharing photos. I especially love designing photo books. During the Covid lockdown, I scanned all of my family photos and worked on genealogy. I had no idea back then that it would become a business venture.

In August of 2021, my husband took a job in Idaho. This was the tipping point of this new adventure.

Photo Organizing can be an overwhelming challenge, and this is why it is something that we put off. Or maybe you have started and stopped several times. I know I have.

Finding the right system for you is a big step in conquering that problem. But not everyone has the time or energy to figure out what that is. I love to learn and figure things out (I get that from my dad.) With the knowledge of my own experiences and the help of "The Photo Managers" organization, I have learned a great deal and I am constantly learning. That is so important because of the pace at which technology is changing.

I know I have found my passion because I find myself in a state of flow and time has passed without me noticing. And I catch myself smiling while I am alone working on a project! The bigger the project the better. I love that I can help others save their precious memories to share with their loved ones. It is an honor to be tasked with such a sacred duty.

Looking at our past photos can be very cathartic as well as joyful. We all need more joy in our lives! Watch for a future post on this topic!
