A little about me:

Welcome to Deja Vu Photo Curating

Hello! I am Jan. I am a photo curator; I help busy people, like you, save, curate, organize and share their photo collections. When I am not busy scanning, I love to travel, especially to visit my children and grandchildren. I love to read, learn and shop. I am passionate about family history and want to help others share their stories.

I am a wife, a mother of 8 adult children, and a Grammy to 10 grandchildren. I am a Dental Hygienist (not currently practicing), a small business owner, and a lifelong learner. I am presently enrolled in WGU to obtain a bachelor's degree in business.

Photo Memories

I have always loved taking pictures, looking at other people's pictures, and the stories behind the pictures. Do you have a favorite photo of yourself from when you were a child? Or your favorite one of your mother or father? Do you know the story behind the image? Is the story preserved somewhere? Let me help you get those favorite photos preserved and the stories with them recorded.

One of My Favorites

This is a picture of my parents on their wedding day. My dad was 19 years old, and my mom was 16 years old. Many people did not think their marriage would last because they were so young, but they have been married for 54 years.

Their story is a true love story. It hasn't always been easy, but they hold on to each other through the highs and the lows.

The older I get, the more these precious photos mean to me. I want to help others preserve and share the memories and stories that have enriched their lives.

I hope to share a few tips and tricks on the website. And maybe some inspiration as well. We take more photographs than ever in history. But do we share just two shots on Facebook and Instagram, and then they get buried in the massive digital mess on our phones? I would love to help you remedy this digital dilemma.

3/22/2023 UPDATE: I have started an ETSY store since launching this website ETSY store. I've created several journals and coloring books (available on Amazon). I feel that starting Deja Vu Photo Curating was just the beginning, and now I want to continue to grow and see what else I can do. I hope that you will come along on this journey with me!
